Botnur power plant

Botnur power plant (Faroese: Elektrisitetsverkið í Botni), to the north of the town of Vágur, is a hydroelectric power station supplying the Faroe Islands island of Suðuroy with electricity. Originally constructed in 1921, it was the first hydroelectric plant in the Faroes.[1]
